Sophie is amazing! She is full of positive energy, kind and compassionate. She is fantastic at engaging children and she takes time to understand individual needs. To Sophie it is clear every child is unique, so she ensures their learning is delivered this way. Sophie cannot always pre plan with my daughter either, so has to adapt on the day, going above an beyond to ensure her happiness over anything else. She makes learning fun and engaging and has given my daughter a huge amount of self confidence. Their relationship is built on trust and understanding, and because of this my daughter feels she can give anything a go whilst tutoring! Sophie goes above and beyond with advice for school and genuinely caring about our welfare. I would 100% recommend Sophie to anyone and so would my 10 year old!

We have been so pleased with how well our daughter has settled into the year 6 tutor group. Sophie has a lovely warm classroom enviroment and she is so approachable and makes learning fun. We are impressed with our weekly feedback with topics covered but also how much our daughter actually enjoys learning. Sophie also responds to any messages really swiftly and our daughter has also benefitted from some of her one to one sessions in the holidays. It is so helpful knowing our daughter has a tutor she could ask any questions too, that may be daunting in a big school enviroment. We have already seen our child's confidence grow. From the moment we first met Sophie we knew instantly we found the right tutor. Approachable. Kind. Understanding. My daughter couldnt stop saying how wonderful she was. Ive never seen her so excited to learn but i think thats because Sophie treats every child as an individual and meets their needs. Giving them the confidence to then thrive. I wish all teachers were like Sophie within schools because children would feel comfortable and happy and want to learn. Sophie is always on hand to help or offer advice outside of our sessions too. We feel shes like family and cant thank her enough.

Sophie is an amazing tutor I only wish I had found her sooner! The communication she makes with me regarding my sons progress has been so consistent and helpful. Sophie has been delivering 11+ tutoring to my daughter for a year. Sophie is so welcoming and my daughter absolutely loves attending her lessons! So much so, that she is continuing on with Sophie for Year 6 group sessions! I highly recommend Sophie!

My son absolutely loves his tutoring sessions with Sophie. He struggled with self confidence and self belief so I wanted to find someone kind and patient who would teach him in a fun way. From the first session he came out happy and excited about all the learning he had done and how much fun he had. To this day he still wants to go and learn with Sophie, and his confidence in his learning has massively increased. Not to mention he is excelling at school. It is a lovely learning environment for the kids. I would highly recommend.

Sophie is fantastic. My daughter was nervous to begin with & Sophie put her at ease instantly, the environment is perfect for children to feel relaxed & comfortable but be able to learn at the same time.. My daughters reading & phonics especially have improved so so much since starting the sessions with Sophie. I highly recommend Sophie! My 2 children, both very different, have both improved in confidence and capability over a range of skills in the last year, having many gaps due to switching from an overseas education system. Sophie adapts their learning to their individual needs and has an aura of patience, enthusiasm and passion that is infectious. Both children love their tutoring!

I found Sophie through a friend and could honestly not fault the tutoring she provides. My son looks forward to going to his weekly session and recently commented that it only felt like 5mins and the sessions weren’t long enough. Sophie really homes in on my sons interests to support his learning and he seems to be growing in confidence all the time! My 11 year old daughter really struggled with maths so much she hated it, since she has been going to Sophie she actually enjoyed maths and looks forward to her maths sessions! Isabelle's maths has improved so much with Sophie that she she has moved up in her sets and definitely doesn't hate maths anymore! My daughter had some one-to-one tutoring with Sophie to help boost her confidence ahead of her year 4 multiplication check. Sophie has a warm and friendly approach and my daughter was always motivated for every session. Sophie tailored the sessions to meet my daughter's needs by listening to her interests and incorporing fun games into her learning. After a few months of sessions, my daughter felt more equipped and confident for her test. Her anxiety of needing to answer each question within six seconds reduced, as timestables became more of a playful game and less about panicking what the answer was. Not only did Sophie increase my daughter's confidence in her Math skills, she now has a range of strategies to use in her learning, which is helping my daughter to meet her year five targets. A big thank you, Sophie, for your patient and friendly approach. We all have a teacher who inspires us when we are young, I know you will be one of them for my daughter.

We have been seeing Sophie for the last couple of months. We are so pleased that we found her. J is very shy and get nervous around new people. Before we had our first session with Sophie I was worried about how he would be about us leaving him on his own with her. But we really didn't need to worry she is incredibly warm, friendly and fun and this put J at ease.
Now J looks forward to his sessions with her and afterwards he can't wait to tell us what he has done. We have also noticed an improvement on his reading and he is starting to enjoy reading his books as well.

Sophie is the hardest working most passionate tutor we could ask for. Dexters autism means he can be unpredictable but Sophie supports his pastorally as well as with his education. Sophie always goes the extra mile to make dexters sessions fun and educational

A teacher recommended Right Start Tutoring for my 8 years old twins as preparation for 11+ exam.
We attended two sessions so far. Kids were really excited to meet their first tutor. Sophie greeted us at the door with a large smile on her face. As soon as they entered in the premises kids loved the learning environment and they didn’t realise when the session has passed!
Sophie sends me a report after each session which I find it really useful.
